The Union Public Service Commission has released the written result of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA 1) and Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS I) on the official website https://upsc.gov.in/.

The written exam for NDA/NA 1 and CDS 1 were conducted by UPSC on 13th April, 2025.

For CDS 1: 8516 candidates have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to

(i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 160 th (DE) Course commencing in January, 2026

(ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in January, 2026

(iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (219 F(P)) commencing in January, 2026 (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 123rd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April, 2026 and

(v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 37th SSC Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course commencing in April, 2026

For NDA/NA 1: candidates who qualified the written exam. Have have qualified for interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for Admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 155th Course and for the 117th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January, 2026
