Is it possible to doing part-time work while studying in UK with student visa?

The UK government recently introduced the Graduate route for international students looking to continue working after their studies. This gives students the freedom to stay in the UK to work or look for work without being sponsored by a company. Undergraduate and postgraduate students can work or look for work after their studies for a period of two years, while doctoral students will be granted three years

Only students enrolled in full-time degree courses are eligible for employment; students applying for further education colleges on a short-term visa may not work while studying.

Students on full time degree-level courses holding a Student visa are permitted to work in the UK. The requirements and rules are upto 20 hourse per week, the Student visa must be valid and issued for a full-time course, full-time work is allowed during vacations only, students pursuing part-time courses are not allowed to work in the UK by authorities.

Know the hours you're allowed to work

   With your student visa, you'll be able to work up to 20 hours per week while studying. You can work full-time during the holidays, as well as before and after your course starts.

   But again, it's different if you have EU settled status. You are free to work as many hours as you wish and can work for as long as you want after graduation.

   However, you shouldn't rely on a part-time job as your main source of income to fund your living costs in the UK.

   They're a great way to boost your finances, but you're unlikely to earn enough to live. What's more, long shifts can distract you from your studies. Try applying for an international students' scholarship instead.
