RTC Knowledge Services Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “RTC”) keeps your personal data secure to the extent possible under applicable data protection and privacy legislation in force from time to time. Degree Wisdom is a business name used by RTC.
In this Policy, the term “personal data” or “personal information” means personal data or data that relates to an identified or identifiable person.
How we collect information and put it to use
RTC collects the information entered by the users such as name, email address, and age to verify users and to send the required notifications to them that are relevant to them. To facilitate commerce, we collect credit card information, member’s address, or bank information only from those who choose to join RTC as a customer or supplier.

With the help of this we manage the website, track usage and identify how to improve our services on the website. We share the information in your application with the institutes that you are applying to (either directly or through a third party on your behalf). User’s email address can be used to send news, updates or a newsletter regarding our services.
RTC and our other service providers (within India or abroad) may provide your personal data in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order. We might also disclose user’s personal data where it is necessary for the exercise, establishment, or defense of legal claims, to suppress, detect, or prevent fraud, and also in case to investigate or prevent the actual or suspected loss or harm to people or property. Where you have engaged a recruitment partner or counsellor to submit your application to RTC, we may be required for legal, regulatory and/or compliance purposes to contact you directly to confirm certain information provided in connection with your application process.
In order to participate or receive a response from RTC or one of its partners, users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or residential address. It is possible to send user’s personal information to certain ad partners to receive information that is requested from or expressed an interest in, from a user.
The information that is provided by you to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. There are certain parts on the website where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for and you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. RTC asks you not to share a password with anyone.

RTC has links to websites but is not responsible, in any way, for the privacy policies and/or practices carried out on other websites. The user must read the privacy policy stated on the other website after landing to another website. RTC privacy policy only governs information collected on RTC Knowledge and Degree Wisdom websites.
Third-party Analytics
RTC makes use of the web analytics services from various third party analytics tools to collect standard internet log information. With the help of these tools, the cookies help us analyze how visitors use the Website. For example, with the help of Google Analytics, the information generated by the cookie about your use of the Website (including your IP address) will be transferred to and stored by a Google server. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the Website, compiling reports on Website activity for Website operators, and providing Website operators with other services relating to Website activity and internet usage.
Blogs & Public Forums
Please take this into notice that whenever you voluntarily post any public information to blogs, bulletin boards, Buzz or any other Public Forums, your information can be accessed by the public and can consequently be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.

Members who would no longer wish to receive updates or notifications may choose not to by selecting the appropriate options in the user profile ‘Account Settings’. These instructions are also mentioned in all the notification emails.

RTC user accounts are secured by passwords created by users themselves which information, if available to us, is kept private and RTC makes sure it is strictly followed. Measures are taken to protect information of the users that is stored within our database. We restrict access to member information to the employees who need access to perform their job responsibilities, like customer service personnel and technical staff. Kindly note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. The security of member information may be compromised, at any time, through an unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors.
Changes in Privacy Policy
It is possible that we change our privacy policy from time to time. If we make any changes, we will make users aware of what the changes are, on the website, so that users are always aware of what information we collect, use, and when we may disclose it. After the changes are posted on the website, a user is bound to the policy when he or she uses the site. If, however, we will use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner that is materially different from that stated at the time of collection of that information, we will notify it by posting a notice on our Website for 30 days.
