LOR
Some colleges and universities require applicants to obtain letters of recommendation, usually from teachers and school counselors. The LOR(letter for recomendation) emphasises on student's performance in the past, general behaviour of the student and interest towards study.
The LOR is an important part of your application that can influence the admission decision of the admission committee as it allows them to review your capabilities and candidature for the course applied from the recommender's point of view.
Students must give time to recommenders (professor's or teachers)
The number of letters of recommendation required varies between schools/ colleges. Students can visit a college's website to find out how many letters they'll need to apply there.
In general most of the colleges and universitier require 2 LOR.
